Summary:
|
Through the combined positive efforts of our staff and the exceptional performance of our medical insurance plan, the District is extending an insurance holiday. Employees who have chosen the District's health and dental insurance will be exempt from paying premiums in December 2023 (representing 1/12th of the annual employee premium share). The estimated average savings for staff members is $357.95. The associated cost of this holiday to the District’s self-insurance fund amounts to $120,000 for health insurance and $9,000 for dental insurance.
