Summary:
|
Through the combined positive efforts of our staff and the exceptional performance of our medical insurance plan, the District is extending an insurance holiday. Employees who have chosen the District's health and/or dental insurance will be exempt from paying premiums in December 2024 (representing 1/12th of the annual employee premium share - based on addendum I rates). The estimated average savings for staff members is $336.25. The associated cost of this holiday to the District’s self-insurance fund amounts is approximately $110,000 for health insurance and $9,100 for dental insurance.
