We need to remove the policy language that requires the open enrollment application to indicate whether a student is on an IEP or needs special education services, as well as the clause that states failure to provide this information will void the open enrollment request. The South Dakota Department of Education has eliminated the IEP section from the open enrollment form, so we need to update our policy accordingly.
